Privacy policy

Effective 4 September 2026 · Applies to the Ondaly app for iOS and Android

The short version

Ondaly currently works without an account. Your bills, expenses, receipts and settings are stored on your device, in an encrypted database. Today no server of ours receives your financial data, and we do not sell or share it. If we add optional cloud features in a later version, they will be off by default and this policy will be updated first.

What stays on your device

What we do not collect

No name, email, phone number, contacts, location, advertising identifier or usage analytics. Ondaly contains no ads and no third-party tracking.

Data that may leave the device

Permissions

Notifications (reminders), camera and photos (receipts), calendar (optional sync), Face ID or fingerprint (app lock). Each is requested only when you use the related feature and can be revoked in system settings.

Children

Ondaly is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Your rights

Because your data lives on your device, you can export it (Settings › Data) or delete it (Settings › Reset) at any time. Uninstalling the app removes everything except what you exported. For subscription data held by Apple, Google or RevenueCat, use their account tools or contact us and we will help.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the app will tell you on first launch after the update. The current version is always at ondaly.app/privacy.
